Thomas E. Houdek, a resident of Canton Township, passed from this life on October 2, 2022 at the age of 96.

Thomas was the beloved husband of the late Wanda, and loving father of Laurie (Roy) Miller, Larry (Tricia), Randy (Donna), the late Janice (the late Steve) Ronan, Sandra, Thomas (the late Darlene), Donna (John) Cullen, Richard (Nancy), Dan (Andrea), and Jodi (Anthony) Nieuwstadt. He was the cherished grandfather of 28 and proud great-grandfather of numerous great-grandchildren.

Thomas will be resting at L.J. Griffin Funeral Home, 42600 Ford Rd (west of Lilley), on Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday, October 28, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.

He will be instate at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas a'Becket Catholic Church, 555 S. Lilley Road (south of Cherry Hill), on Saturday, October 29, 2022, until the time of his Mass at 10:30 a.m.
